I have been telling people since 50 Shades of Grey came out that it is just another romance novel formulated for bored housewives. Why people insist that it is more than just a Harlequin romance or actually qualifies as literature baffles me. Culture just keeps going downhill. Do not be fooled. 50 Shades of Grey is not literature! I don’t even care if people want to read it, but so many people keep lying about why they’re picking it up in the midst of the trend. It just cheeses me off that this kind of thing is what people look up to as “good”, when there are so many talented people out there that put out real works of art that go unnoticed. Oh, and don’t even get me started on how this is being made into a movie…. ><
